A Special section for local schools has been organised for them to display their scarecrows in the Flood Gardens

Start of festival, 10k Road race (13:15)

& BBQ at the George & Dragon

Sunday 25th April

Car boot sale (08:00) on the school field

Wednesday 28th April

Morris Dancing (20:00)

Friday 30th April

Giant Scarecrow Parade (20:00)

The parade walks the length of Main Street ending at Bridge End Farm Tea Rooms. Presentation of prizes for the Best Scarecrows refreshments and a Bonfire.

Sunday 2nd May

Ball race (14:00)

Monday 3rd May

Fair Day and Fell Race (details to be posted on the village website)

£3 for adults; £1 for OAPs;

kids under 12 free

£1 for parking

Refreshments in Wray Institute are available throughout the week

provided by different local charities selling home made produce.

Street entertainment will be performed by the children at Wray Primary School

11.00am and 2.00pm each day

Guided tours of the village and scarecrows are held throughout the week.

The event is organised and supported by volunteers, who put hours into making the Festival and Fair a success to give you a great day out - this is a non-profit making event, where all proceeds go directly to local charitable organisations- we hope you come and enjoy the Wray Festival and Fair and thank you,
